A note from the Pres…
Our goal this year is to deepen community engagement with our parents & AMS. We want a strong AMS for our children, guides, and admins. We look to stitch and bridge between the needs of our children, our parents, and our school in any way we can by fostering relationships.
Summer Recap. This summer we spent several hours together brainstorming on how to achieve this, from governance, to events & fundraising, closing with our favorite topic, ENGAGEMENT.
Call for Involvement! In order for the Parents Association to achieve this goal & live out our mission, we will need volunteer support from our community of parents. Our time is a precious resource, one that so often we all feel is constrained, limited, and allocated down to the minute. This said, we shamelessly ask for YOU to take a look at your time budget and see if you could spare some of those precious minutes (from ‘time to time’ 🤭) to hang out with a fun group of parents who care deeply about our school and its families.
AMSPA Summer Work Session
The next portion of this post is about some of the very cool events we thought up this summer and we’d love for you to be part of our team in making it happen! We are also in need of some Merch Managers to help maintain our online store. We are excited to share a “spreading kindness” themed family activity, new merch, and (of course) POPCORN!

AMSPA November Bake Sale & Gratitude Giving
This cozy November gathering celebrates gratitude and the spirit of giving. Families will come together to share baked goods that support PA fundraising, enjoy warm drinks, and join in activities inspired by Montessori’s focus on practical life and community care. Pairing a bake sale with gratitude crafts, the event invites families to pause before the holiday season to create thank-you notes for guides, friends, and loved ones.

Our WhatsApp community is thriving!
We have several subgroups, including "AMC Parents Handwork Group", "AMC Buy/Give/Sell/Swap", "AMC Positive Discipline Parenting", "AMC Pledge WaitUntil8th", and MORE! The subgroups often have meet-ups, playdates, advice, and are all-around a great resource for AMS parents and caregivers.

100% of the proceeds from your donations are used towards PA events, staff appreciation, the printing of family photo placemats, meal trains, and more. The PA accepts Cash, Check, and Credit Card. Your purchase is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
